Arts and Maths Week 2008
This year's Arts week had a maths focus. Everybody went to the Tate Modern to look at famous works of art that used shapes and spaces in interesting and unusual ways. We were inspired by the paintings and sculptures of artists like Henri Matisse, Wassily Kandinsky and Dan Flavin. Each class spent the week making art with all sorts of media; clay, felt, acetate, pastels, paints and even straws! For the full picture of what we got up to, ask at the office for one of our catalogues which will guide you around our exhibition throughout the school.
